Dear colleagues, since some of you have kindly accepted the task of translating this survey, in this page, I am describing the procedure for achieving this task. In any case, DO NOT TOUCH english language (since you are administrator, you could !) as other country will start answering the survey in english... In case you have a doubt, don't hesitate to ask me.

STEP 1 : Registering the survey as Administrator

For this please go to the following url : 

http://www.inventive-design.net/limesurvey/admin/admin.php

Then use Username & Pwd sent to you personnally by mail.

STEP 2 : Opening the survey "TRIZ survey" 

STEP 3 : Editing main page of the survey  

STEP 4 : Then "Save and Continue" ; then the main window text will appear 

At this point you need to click on the table "your language" (in the picture Chinese (Simplified)) to switch the editor to your required language. Then, the text editor boxes should present you empty places where you may want to place the exact translation of what is written in "english" table at the very same place !

STEP 5 : Editing and translating the groups

  Edit buttons are always the same, chosing the appropriate language table is always the same, in case the contents within you language is not empty, select the text (see next picture for Chinese) and replace it by yours in your language.

Using the same procedure : Editing the group, chosing the appropriate table, translating in the boxes (both groups and description), validating the translation (update group button), verifying your work and compare with english. You may step by step translating the 5 groups of question.

STEP 6 : Editing and translating the questions 

Using the same procedure : Editing the questions for each group, chosing the appropriate table, translating in the boxes (both question and descriptions), validating the translation (update question button), verifying your work and compare with english. You may step by step translating the 54 questions within the 5 groups.

STEP 7 : Editing and translating the items of questions

This step is composed twofold :

7.1 Editing question items : 

For some questions, you may have lists of items, each item shall be translated again using the same procedure within the table dedicated to your language (here Chinese (simplified)) in the picture.

7.2 Editing generic items :

Same procedure of translation is required for these generic items.

STEP 8 : Verifying your work and check is all elements of the survey have been translated
